Warm-Up / Bell Ringer [3-5 Minutes]
Every day you should:
- Login to DCPS OneView.
- Read your DCPS e-mail.
- Follow any additional instructions from the teacher.
Instruction [10-15 Minutes]
Today students will take the baseline test for this class. If you are testing through Duval HomeRoom YOU MUST ENABLE YOUR CAMERA. If you can not or will not enable it, you must schedule a time to come in to school and take the test in person.
Work [30-45 Minutes]
Complete the Syllabus Quiz by Friday, 8/28/20 at 3:30PM. You must login with your DCPS username and password. YOU CAN USE THE SYLLABUS but you should complete the quiz without assistance from any other intelligent lifeforms or AI.
Begin working on Draw Something #00: Free Style. It is due by Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11:59PM in the Focus drop box.
Current Nine Weeks Assignments
The assignments shown here are due at some point in the current grading period. Students are free to work ahead to complete them. Please remember, if you are working ahead and get stuck I may not be able to help you until I can help students with current projects first.
- Students are always free to work ahead and submit them.
- For projects that require a file upload, you will need to change the Nine Weeks in the top right corner of Focus.
- If you are working on a future assignment and get stuck, you must wait until I can help students with current projects first.
Break Down [~5 Minutes]
Before you leave please do the following::
- BACKUP your data in at least two locations.
- RESTART the computer.
- TURN OFF the monitor.
- COLLECT your materials.
- CLEAN / WIPE-DOWN your keyboard and mouse.
- WAIT quietly to be dismissed.
- PUSH in your chair when you leave.
- THROW away any trash in the trashcan as you leave.
Homework
Finish any class work not completed during the period.
Read for fun, at least 20 minutes.
